My name is Latoya Andrée Kessie (but they call me L.A Kes!). I’m a hardworking, high-spirited blogger that likes to have fun with everything I do. I was born in the city of London, UK and bred in almost every corner of the place.
Fashion and I were not the best of friends when I was younger…. in fact we were the complete opposite. I certainly wasn’t considered a ‘fashionista’! Until about three years ago, I decided to see what all the ‘hype’ was about fashion. I did what any amateur would do and purchased Vogue magazine…. after being so amazed with the content I never looked back and decided to discover more.
When I got started I use to follow catwalk trends but my love for knowledge craved for more. I started looking at fashion as a culture. Not just a trend. Not just how to look good. An entire culture – that meant historical influences, regional differences, music, inspirational sources – THE ENTIRE CULTURE!
My rather turbulent fashion journey made me realise that fashion is EVERYWHERE. This belief has led me to where I am today.
The aim of FashionClutter is to provide fashion inspiration by showcasing luxury brands, trends and everything in between. Hopefully it will make you think about fashion in a different light.
FashionClutter is like a keepsake shoebox of memories under the bed – when you open it – you put the photos and notes together to build a story.
Posts that you can expect can vary (usually with my mood!) I love motivational and fashion quotes, a bit of fashion history, issues of debate and of course looking at catwalk news and trends. I love conversation. A blog is so boring without conversation so please feel free to leave your comments (just remember to be polite or it won’t make it on this blog!)
In addition to blogging I’m a 9 to 5 account executive, like to eat food, exercise loads and I’m a bit of a basketball addict!
